Mama's little girl

I wrote this for my baby girl....my puppy, who passed away oct. 30, 2008

Mama's Little Girl

My little girl,
So pretty and sweet,
If she's really good,
I'll give her a treat.

Bright eyed and bushy tailed,
Playing with balls,
Playing with the cats,
Until mama calls.

She makes me laugh,
Bouncing and running,
Chasing her tail,
If only she had one.

Black and white,
With straight pointy ears,
It's hard to believe,
She is already 9 years.

Now all she does,
Is lay around and sleep,
Keeping mama company,
And licking my feet.
