FAR AWAY

This poem is about two people who were unable to be together.

FAR AWAY

I left one day,
Now I'm far away.
I left it all behind,
peace I had to find.

I can still visualise
those beautiful eyes,
but you will never be,
here with me.

Times we cannot share,
it may seem unfair.
A break had to be made,
the memories will fade.

No good for eachother,
we let ourselves suffer.
To start somewhere new,
had to be, it's true.

We couldn't prepare,
our lives to share.
Round in circles we travelled,
no ties unravelled.
