Sliped Away

You really just have to read it.

Maybe its easier to run and hide
than face the things that stand outside
outside of the box that you feel is safe
outside the grasp that holds your face

and in between all your fake smiles
is the hope that’s been gone for just a little while
and all your friends
just don’t know where to begin

to help you out of this deep pit
because you got your self in this sh*t
you always knew that what we said was a lie
but you knew we would all still have to try

now as I watch you cry your self to sleep
and now all 5 of us sit and watch you weep
it took too long to help you
and even then it wasn’t much

now we watch the ground cover you
and we all burst in tears
as sadness gave its touch
we will all pray tonight

because we all know
that tomorrow just might
be the day for someone else to go
