Is this a journey we are on?
Or has that time already gone?
Is there still enough time?
For hopes and wishes to be mine.

If we don't try we'll never know,
Of all the places that we go.
The dreams we have while in our beds,
Are they real or in our heads?

Is this really just a game?
Do we all feel the same?
When we are happy we're at our best,
We work hard, play and rest.

Of love, joy or any emotion,
like riding the waves upon the ocean.
We're up high with the sea,
Then back down to earth are we.

We all have our purpose,
Even when others hurt us.
From all things we learn,
For our desires we learn.

We all grow old much too soon,
But we all dance to a different tune.
In our hearts we know the truth,
We are all yesterday's youth.

Make the most of the bright days,
Don't lose sight of the right ways.
People can be good together,
Maybe for now or even forever.
