We were told told to write something from the past using: "I used to..., But now I...,"

Number 1:

I used to run around without a care,
But now I hear the opinions they share.

It used to be that I could be anyone,
But now I know all that has been undone.

I used to be glad that life was fair,
But now I just wish that I was back there.

Number 2:

I used to love life when you were here,
But now you're gone, my love will veer.
I used to laugh when you were here,
But now you're gone, there's no claim to cheer.
I used to sing when you were here,
But now you're gone, my voice is unclear
I used to cry when you were here,
But now you're gone, yet I'll cry no tear.
I used to listen when you were here,
But now you're gone, I use no ear.
I use to feel when you were here,
But now you're gone, just pain will sear.
