Broken heart poem

I thought you knew what it meant to love
many years of expressing this
inner most thought to me
caused days of a brain freeze
when you up and left me

grasping for your kisses
pining for affection
no matter the avenue
a castastrophe waiting to happen
I lost myself for the sake
of loving you
reality struck me square on the fore head
causing my fontanelle to bulge and burst
expressing hatred to all the lovers who followed
poor recepients
loving someone incapable
of returning that emotion

the damage you caused when you said i love you
with all my heart and now you departed to cause further
destruction in your circle of life
your wrath will come back to you ten-fold
honoring all those lies you told
