Happiness eludes me
Forever out of reach

The understanding of myself
Is something school don’t teach

Why does no one understand
My pain so deep inside

Forever and so constantly
My feelings I must hide

Alone and wanting desperately
For someone I can share

My feeling and confusion
To know someone that cares
