a child

so very cute

I am just a child,
But I love my daddy so.

He cuddles me and loves me,
And helps me while I grow.

Sometimes he comes home tired,
After working hard all day.

But I have learnt to understand,
And stay out of his way.

I know he doesn’t mean it,
When he barks and is a grouch.

I know that he still loves me,
Even without words from his mouth.

How?  Mommy!!!
