| AN OCTOBER RAIN I am tired as rains pour tired as this pounding begins once more exhausted and jailed in watery bars of downpour clicking behind me, the latching of my door; wind's beating frigid chain. Downpour, each drop as seconds of together, then each stormy bead occluded within expeditions for clarity unrestricted wear me thin wet and cold, no Kelly dancing and singing in; this biting Kansas rain. |
