Something i wrote in reference to a close friend of mines.

Near you i feel so confused
inside i take so much abuse
i almost lose myself whenever I'm with you
i almost feel free
yet still i feel i cant be me
i almost feel like i can speak
but the will to be true makes me weak
i almost lose myself whenever I'm with you
i had this problem once before
having another person i adore
i don't want to make it the same with you
so my distance i shall start to keep
while inside it hurts too deep
i almost lose myself when I'm with you
so i cry at night not knowing what to do.
