A description of love in today's Society

In society today
Words mean so little
"I love you!" used to mean so much!
Now, "I love you" whispered,
Secretly means- "I want you,"
The words have lost all meaning
"I love you!"

Still the words penitrate a girls heart
Used now by guys so quickly
Only a bed partner wanted
Sex today, tomorrow, later down the road,
That's the reason a guy says "I love you."
"I love you!"

"I love you!"
Said and taken to heart,
It was deception from the start.
My body was wanted and not my heart.
But, my heart was given and broken!
