I wish you could see
With each passing day
I just want to be
Closer to you

I wish you could hear
My outcries for you
I just want my fear
To go away

I wish you could smell
Surrounding me here
It's like it's all hell
Beating me down

I wish you could taste
This evil that's here
My heart has been placed
Somewhere toxic

I wish you could touch
My feverish skin
I miss you so much
Yet here we are

I wish you were here
Holding my hand now
Holding me tight now
Holding me up now

I wish you were here
Guiding my hand now
Guiding me right now
Guiding me up now

I wish you were here
This is such a nightmare
I just wish you were here
