What is this, this feeling in my head?
Its weight heavy on my shoulders
Thoughts racing through
Memories from days of old
This frightening sorrow overwhelms me
Sadness from the music I've heard
It brings tears to my eyes, my mind cries
It cuts me
The flow refreshing down the throat of my ears
My mind dances, it fades
Excitement to fear and back again
What is this feeling?
My pen lets it go
