Broken...

I love this one. Basically opening and closing my heart in an instance.

So this is my heart open,
For it has been so long.
My thoughts have not been written,
My inspiration gone.

I woke up today feeling,
Like my love was almost lost.
For three years I kept it there,
Regardless of the cost.

But now I'm faced with something new,
Not knowing how I feel.
A distance far between us,
A wound I cannot heal.

Maybe I should tell you,
That I long to hear your voice.
Or just forget the bond we shared,
I always had that choice.

So this is my heart closed,
It's been broken for so long.
My thoughts have now been written,
