Father to daughter, “You’re what…five, now?” Smiling.

“Yes, Daddy.”

“In about ten years, you’re going to want to start dating. But, if you’ll wait twenty years, you can have another cookie tonight!”

Eyes alight with chocolate chip excitement, “Okay Daddy!”

“How many cookies will it take to keep you from growing up?”

She giggles.
