Confused.

I knew I should have stayed in bed!

Confused!

I dreamed a world that wasn't mine.
I dreamed a love I couldn't find.
I walked in silence, shouting loud.
I walked alone within a crowd.
I sat and listened to the air
then took long steps but got nowhere.
While all around me people sped,
my brain played mind games with my head.

I have to go, I cannot stay.
My future's blown my past away.
When I return from where I've been
the other's grass won't seem as green.
And maybe then I'll wake see
myself again as I should be!
