RAIN

I stand outside staring at the sky

I stand outside staring at the sky
The intensity falling from the grayish clouds
Water refreshing our paths of life
And purifying our souls drop by drop

The winds swaying the trees from side to side
Colorful leaves of autumn beginnings, bloom
The sound this moment gives to my ears
Makes my mind go numb
Bringing me to places I’ve never gone
The feel of sadness and joy all at once
Makes my heart beat even harder

At a storming speed, the rain
Hits the heated ground like running soldiers
To the right and to the left all I see and feel
Is God tears of joy and new beginning!
