Dear God, Goodbye

A poem I wrote some time ago..enjoy!

Dear God,
This may be my last prayer.
Why should I believe,
if there's no proof you're there?

I've cried many nights,
but now my tears are gone.
If you can hear me,
then please prove me wrong.

Steal my tears,
or touch my heart.
I want to believe,
So, do your part.

My prayers of old
still unanswered, why?
You're just a dream.
Dear God, Goodbye!
