A poem about the current state of my life.

Cry away your agonies without shedding a tear
Starve your sorrows with what you know best
Look into my eyes without caring a bit
Go back to your business of passing life by

A faded memory imprinted in my mind
A fallback family from a second-rate life
An unphased face with a burning mind
A decade of years will forever be forgotten

Look after your own
This is not your home
Cry us all a river
Just a cold shrill shiver
Keep away

Carry on as you cry without a care
Continue as you always were

A hidden pain covered ordinary
An exchange of silent hate, love and sadness
A feeling of regret that never ends
A new life that won't be whole

Death on you
As you always do
I don't care much more
For all the years and more
