coming upon the date i met my ex

The day was fathers day, six years ago
little did I know the man would cause such fo.
So much has been learned relationship wise,
The next man worthy will be treated as prize.
I first found the man annoying and sad
and then within a month, my heart he did had.
I allowed so many wrongs, cause love was true,
But after the 6th year, my emotions were thru.
Men dont realize what they have til its gone,
Especially someone as smart, beautiful as this one.
