Failure is not an option

Writing of encouragement, no matter what never give up.

Failure has never been an
option for me.
No matter the amount of uncertainties
life brings, I would be ready to fight back.
Ready to take whatever life brings
Because I have a goal.
A goal to succeed and become
The best of my ability
Knowing my capability.
See, I’ve gone through things,
I remember times I would cry myself to sleep,
Feeling miserable about life.
But then I would get up in the morning with a whole
New attitude of hope.
Hope that God would not allow me to suffer
Without eventually glorifying himself in my life.
With this new attitude, I was able to stand back
Up and persevere.
Someone once told me It was okay to fall but
“just make sure you get back up”, they said.
And so that stayed with me.
Don’t get me wrong, it wasn’t easy,
Oh no it wasn’t easy!
But with prayers, fasting and perseverance, I got through it.
And now I see a clearer road ahead.
A road filled with fulfilled dreams and success.
A road filled with happiness and joy.
This is the beginning of that road for me.
