An ode to my favorite animal.

You are my dream.
Sleek, beautiful body
That I am unable to ignore.
Making the world ripple
With a movement.
The imperfections
Marring your surface
Make you whole.
One glimpse and I am
Swept away
Sighing the sigh
Of a woman well-pleased.
Your voice echoes
Through my being
Causing my soul to
Reverberate in time
With your song.
You are the leviathan
That commandeered my soul –
The whale.
