Yet I Stay

a poem that was hard for me to write, so it may be a bit rough.

dented walls
testify danger,
yet i stay.

tears sting
old wounds

His words
open flesh,
yet I stay.

i shake
for Him alone

devouring His love
resenting the after shocks

plastering smiles
to fake my way-
yet I stay.

bitter spite
seeps

His jealousy flows
unwarranted

He is all
i have left

so i stay.
