Oxygen

If I am your oxygen,
then I sacrifice myself
for you to breathe—
I give myself, my substance,
my all to you;

for you—to love;
therefore, to live—
within you—to be:

pulse through you, I stream—
course through you, I feed
your deepest of needs;
I feel you, indeed—

For you,
Forever more
and for always, dedicated.
