Our restaurant:a Chinese charity

a true story

Let me tell you a true story of the restaurant we opened in Tianjin China on Dec 6, 2006. The restaurant is called 1000colors monday and it is a western restaurant serving pizza. We just recently sold it.

Now let me explain the charity part. We had two Chinese partners and all Chinese staff. Everyone, except my Chinese wife, stole food and money from this reataurant. We must have fed many Chinese people from the amount that was stolen, so this is our charity to China.

They thought this was fine because they were stealing from a foreigner. This is the Chinese way. This is the Socialist way.
