Purple

Give me purple, I must cry,
If I don’t have it, I will die.
Purple is my favorite shade,
If I don’t get purple, I will fade.

Lilac, lavender, violet, too,
Never could I endure a hue of blue.
Plum, mauve, and even wine,
All the types of purple are mine.

Everyone knows the color to buy
Or the tears will start to pour from my eyes.
Purple is the only color for me,
Not blue or green or yellow, see?

I’m addicted to purple hues
If I don’t get them, chaos will ensue.
So please just get me purple today,
So I can keep the tears at bay.
