I try so hard, and do my best,
but in the end i've failed the test.
I let you down, broke the trust,
all because i do what i must.
I try make seanse of the crazy world,
and into the malestrom i am hurled.
You are the rope i need to escape,
you are the reason for the attempts i make.
so know this, and keep it in mind,
i will not always be kind.
I will sometimes be cruel, and sometimes seem mean.
These times will be few and far in between,
and when we wait, i have but one request.
