I Stopped Believing in Myself

There are times when everyone stops believing in themselves.

I stopped believing in myself today
I guess that's what I did
I know no one cares about me
And, I hate the way I live.
I work hard, but never keep the money
I dream of things that won't come true
I still have hope for my future
But I see now what good will hope do.
I stopped believing in myself today
No one else gives a damn
They don't listen to me
Or believe in who I am.
Why do others destroy me
Make my heart feel pain
Do they just feel I'm stupid
Or, am I the one to blame?
I must believe in myself
Because I am who I am
I'll try harder tomorrow
And do the best that I can.
The ones who push me down
I'll show them
That I will succeed
The ones who hurt me the most
I know
Will never make me bleed.
