If I could only have one wish
I would want it to be that
People could feel the way I feel today

If you could only feel the way that I do today
You would see and understand who I really am

If I could only have one wish
I would try to heal all the wounds I have created
The scares the pain the reflection of what I created

If I could only have one wish
It would be that my son and husband would get along
So there would be no need for the pain I feel

If I could only have one wish
I would make it plan to see that
This world is already in enough pain so why should we bring more

If I could only have one wish
I would wish the pain away
But by doing so I create no me
Feelings are what make us realize our mistakes
And to deal with the reality of the world we live in today
