A short, desciptive prose of a wintry palace. |
| The flecks of snow In the crisp blue sky Looked like diamonds floating To a bed of silver silk Spread over the ground. The tall stately trees Stood like kings and queens Wearing exquisite lace And brandishing frosty jewels That shroud each long finger. Off the lake of ice Glistened rays of golden sun That danced through the air In a flurry Of soft, shimmering gowns. Crystal icicles hung From dainty roof corners; Icy breezes sang faint Songs of snowy dreams, And silent white flakes Dappled the cold blue sky Of this winter palace. |
