peaceful night, stars delight

this is the peaceful night
  the moon full and mysterious
the lights of God, stars delight
  no clouds no sound, what a sight

gorgeous are the beams of
  righteousness and divine sigh
and the worries vanish--like in love
  sweet intentions pure as a dove

shots fired in the distance
  explosions, repentance
and then silence thickens again
  in the immediate lenience

for sure i am new
  to this universe, with no clue
and my chivalry dies
  but each day i arise
with a plan for that prize
  for a crude rendezvous
down the avenue with you

my heart is now one
  with my love so afar
i am complete with my love
  she is never too far

and i wait and i wait
  for her suave embrace
one day it will be
  for me to be in her space
and for her to be in mine
  for us to share our place
with eachother's embrace

and to make our lives free
  by letting it be
and by letting go
  with utter glee
without malice or greed
