the poem is just one huge question but whats the answer

What did you do?
When I lay down beside of you
How did you make me forget?
My deepest secrets, my most terrible regrets
What did you say?
To fight my fears away.

So bury a part of me
With pain as a far of vacant memory
Isn't it strange?
How two people change
One minute the closest of friends
The next undiying love to the end

In the darkness where I lay and weep
Youre words soothe me to a peacefull sleep
We both know what were doing is so wrong
But who can deny emotions so strong
A love so powerfull it scares me
In secret we can just be.

You told me all you wanted was to feel wanted
And then our conscence taunted
All you want to be is mine
Youre happiness I drink like wine
So lets take a walk down memory lane
So we can both escape our pain

I feel so confused
I dont understand why I'm so bemused
I know youre frightened
But when were together it sets of lightning
You try to be so strong
but for how long?
