God's Night

This is just a poem I wrote in art class. It may not make much sense, but hey, I like it.

Here the world is dark and grey
This is where shadows come to play
My homeland lies here
There is nothing that I fear
In shadow or in light
For this is mankind's greatest blight
That they would stare and not understand
What has been handed down by God's own hand
