a springtime poem about the treasure of flowers. |
| A treasure is waiting for you, To be unlocked by eager eyes. Jewels of countless colors are Hiding in flowery disguise. Ruby red roses wait by a fence, And gold dandelions bloom at their feet. Sapphires of asters strewn about All a treasure and sweet treat. Pearl white blooms on dogwood trees Mix with azalea’s rich dresses, Shades of pinks, reds, whites and more Are the hues of their tresses. Spring’s riches are not hiding, Just open your eyes and see, There before you the treasure So wonderful and ever so free. |
