Fading Shadows

Brought on by the cold around me, my despair and the wild sunset.

If he showed up now...
I don't know what I would say...
Amazed I would be, because he heard my silent plea.

I would beg him to take me away with him,
so that I could live out my dream...
And repair my love with him.

My heart would soar in the beautiful sunset that slowly fades to darkness,
like a shadow when the sun goes down,
I too would be a fading shadow. Melting into an anime life.

Now only a faint blue and gold sash across the sky,
and darkness descends on you and I,
alone, scattered into fading shadows.
