A moment...
Expecting the emptiness of always,
Comfortable with the expectant response.

An answer replied
And in the change of normality,
I was lost.. Eager for the newness.
A moment changing life.

Reality struck and fear,
Well known, re-established.
Sickness of doubt and disbelief
Returned like a lifetime partner,
An unseen ring of eternity.

A long lost familiarity come home,
A moment of future...
