My heart cannot deny
Those hazel eyes
I tried to deny
Those hazel eyes
My heart cannot deny

These lies that tie us together
Allow me to feel your heartbeat and
Hear the cries from deep within your soul
Whole together, apart a porthole from
One to the other

I surmise it would be unwise to compromise
Those hazel eyes but
God help me!
