Stepping into the night,
there was no wonder
the journey was long,
and frightfully eventful.
Bumping, stumbling,
tripping, even a fall
or many more.

Sometimes dangerous,
Sometimes intriguing,
and times not exciting.

Departure from the light
seemed an eternity.
Each way over, through,
around, yonder, and past
the last was indeed an
lifetime adventure.

Returning to her senses
at night's end brought
exquisite delight
and bright revelations.
It was then, when
she discovered he was
patiently waiting for her;
with camera in hand,
and compass on his belt.
Now life's road was seen;
each with an artistic eye,
together their world was
traveled through the lens.
