Only Lonely

When it gets lonely in life, everything one does seems worthless and meaningless.

Small talk's scary,
Normalcy....a conspiracy,
Escaping here seems tempting....
desperation is reigning.

Life...a bit part in the stage play reality of today
Dreams of yesterday....nicotine for today
....but the World's a cruel place
and I have to earn my bread
....maybe its madness only
....maybe I'm only lonely.
