Darkness

The darkness tells me it's all the same...

The trees whisper in the wind calling my name,
The waves wash up on the shore.
But the darkness tells me it's all the same,
While I'm sitting here waiting for more.
I'm waiting for the light to show,
Waiting for this darkness to go away,
But this is all I know,
It's always going to stay.
Happiness whirls around me,
But it keeps leaving.
The only thing I can see,
Is the darkness that is deceiving.
