MP3's...fueling loners?

Are MP3's fueling a breed of loners?

I absolutely love my IPod and my other MP3's but... whenever I am on my way to class or sitting waiting for class to start with my loyal ear-buds on, I can not help but feel like a loner. Think about it, when you have your ear-buds in it becomes more difficult for others or yourself, to initiate conversation, thus more difficulty to meet other people.
MP3's provide the opportunity to have a library full of songs new and forgotten compact enough to fit in you pocket, whenever and wherever you want.
I just hope the MP3 generations find a balance between embracing MP3's and growing socially!
