The Tear

A sad poem about a tear.

The tear,

One single shining tear,

Rolling slowly down a rouge covered cheek,

One sphere of desperation,

Of hesitation,

Heavy on the heart,

Leaving a trail of what used to be,

What could have been,

What should have been,

One tear falls to the earth,

A puddle of hollowness,

Soaking into the earth,

Deep down just like the pain that caused it,

Lost forever
