From Dreams

A short poem influenced by Nirvana (I was listening to Heart-Shaped Box when I wrote it)

Rising from a dream and living through a passion
Nurtured into a man, a God, a living dream
Manifested into an icon of society it would seem
A dream was never enough

You will come as you are
It is more than a dream thus far
Friends and foes walk the same line
Their fate will be the same as mine

Cannot fake it for just another show
I will always break it forever is which I know
Breaking the hearts and wills of others
Apologies will never be enough for them

Still there is the critiscm of a new day
But now I will not have to face the hearsay
The path has been chosen and can't be undone
To them I am a hero but I will never be unsung
