For What?

it's about a girl in a cult, and the guy tells her about his plan

He came to me one dreary night.
I was so alone and so confussed!
he looked like my savior or knight!
Little did i know by him i would be abused.
I thought i saw the light!
He for a while kept me amused.

I thought he knew all!
that was my greatest fall!
how could i have been so nieve?
he had all the power to decieve!
he got mad at a man.
for me he had conceived a plan.

one stormy night,
i went to the room with the only light.
in my hand i held a glimmering knife.
that night i ended the man's life.
my leader smiled at me,
and i realized how could he?

i thought,"what did this man do wrong?
how could i have followed his plan for so long!"
i had murdered,
and it finally occured!

how could i have done something so horrid to that man!
with that knife in my hand!
i had ended his life,
with that evil little knife!
for what?
