A poem dedicated to my Mother for her 60th Birthday!

                                     

My Mother’s Love

Even before I was born,
You loved me.
Each new day of my life,
You nurtured me.
Every step I took,
You were there to catch me.
When I fell,
You were there to pick me up.
When I was in pain,
You comforted me.
When I wanted to quit,
You reminded me that I could do anything.
When everything seemed hopeless,
You were only a phone call away.
There was never a reason to give up believing,
For you refused to give up on me.
Every day you showed me,
Your love for me was unconditional.
Now, I am a wife and Mother,
I can’t imagine it any other way.
You prepared me for life,
Your love paved the way.
So, I just want to thank God, yet again,
For making you my Mother!
