A paradox of envy!

FRIENDLY SLUG AND FURRY FLY

The friendly purple sea slug
And the yellow furry fly
One can barely see, and...
One has one hundred eyes!
One dives deep, the oceans blue...
And sleeps with all the fishes.
The other soars with worries few...
And looking downward wishes...

"Why can't I swim, and dive the deep...
  like friendly purple slug?"

While slug imagines
The wingy greatness...
Of airborne yellow bug!
