Sleeping Beauty

A poem about love.

Sleeping silently in the past,
My world was full of darkness!
Not a flower could stay alive,
Through much sorrow not to confess!

Then there you were with your sword drawn,
To let the light shine with each step!
You brighten the base of my soul,
All emotion you took and kept!

You are forever my hero!
You are the beauty in my life!
Even over the rough edges,
You lift me up despite my strife!

Know that you will forever be,
The one that i truly do love!
Fulfilling my heart with passion,
You're my angel sent from above!
