My Grandfather

I wrote this for my Grandfather who has past away.

You were always there for me,
you held me when I cried.
Wiped away my tears.
You taught me to be myself,
to love and help others.
I be true and follow my heart,
you were always so gentle and kind.
I could never let you down,
you mean so much to me.
I miss you so,
you were always such a happy guy,
it hurt so much to watch you slip away.
But, I feel you shinning down from heaven.
I almost hear your voice,
when I'm all alone.
I think back on all the time.
I know your in a better place.
but I can't help but wish, you were still here with me.
To at least give you on last hug.
I love and miss you so,
until we meet again...
