I lie in the dark, living in sin....

My life is shallow
I let no one in

I cannot live
This way any more
But I have locked
The only open door

It won't open
I've lost the key

The door begins to shake
It opens wide
The light is there

I am free
But I cannot shift
Frozen in place

I can almost move
But as I try to
The door slams closed
What am I to do?
