My dog, Shadow, was dieing when I wrote this.


My Shadow is my shadow
She follows me everywhere.
My Shadow is my shadow
Except for down the stairs.

The light is not bright
Going down the stairs.
The light is not bright
And that gives her quite a scare.

My Shadow is my shadow
Please don’t disappear.
My Shadow is my shadow
Please wait for me at the top of the stairs.
